Rebuild My Church Capital Campaign

Information, resources and a prayer for the Campaign.

Since 2008, Holy Child School has served as the only Catholic Classical school in New Mexico and the only Catholic school in the East Mountain community. The Lord has blessed our mission to form hearts and minds in the study of the good, the true, and the beautiful. Enrollment has grown 30% in the past five years, and with the current 87 students, the school is bursting at the seams. For our parish school to accommodate more families who desire an authentic Catholic education for their children, the need for physical space is crucial.

A new school facility will:

  • Accommodate the increasing enrollment numbers
  • Allow mixed grade classes to develop into single grade classes
  • Provide a science room and space for the expanding Suzuki strings and Latin programs
  • Free up space in Blessed Miguel Pro Hall for parish ministries/adult education

As a member of Holy Child Parish, your support in this campaign is of great importance. Everyone is needed. Please pray and seek the Lord's guidance on what your personal sacrifice should be for your three-year commitment. Supporters of the new building will have an impact on future generations of Catholics in the East Mountains.

Eucharistic Adoration Adorers Needed

"Could you not watch one hour with me?" Matthew 26:40
We like to schedule two adorers each hour in case one can't make it. If you can commit to a regular weekly hour, or would like to sign up to be on our substitute list, call the Parish Office (505) 281-2297. We would like to schedule two adorers each hour in case one can't make it. Most of our hours from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. have only one adorer. Jesus would be delighted if you'd sign up as a second person on any of these hours. Ask anyone who takes a weekly hour and they will tell you of numerous blessings. Jesus cannot be outdone in generosity.

Did you know that in January 2005, we began a twelve-hour daily Adoration with two adorers every hour to celebrate the "Year of the Eucharist" proclaimed by the late Pope John Paul II? Come and experience the "True Presence" yourself. Please prayerfully consider taking an hour. Many have told me that at first they were afraid of the commitment to a weekly hour, but after a short time, realized that it was the best hour of the week and they really looked forward to it. God is good and will bless you immensely for keeping Him company one hour a week in adoration.

Exodus 90 Men's Group

Wednesdays – 5:30 a.m.-7:00 a.m.
A study of St. John Paul II's "Theology of the Body", a beautiful gift to the Church through which we will deepen our understanding of how to live our vocation as husbands, fathers, and men. We will encounter profound answers to some of the deepest questions of life; "What is the human person?", "How can I become pure in heart?", and "How does God intend for me to be holy, in and through my masculinity?"
