Mass Guidelines and Schedules
Archbishop allows pastors to ease the severity of restrictions to those outlined in the Governor's order, effectively immediately, should they determine that local pandemic conditions so allow. However, desiring to work in cooperation with civil authorities because of the medical expertise available to them, restrictions may be increased when authorities determine such is necessary to safeguard lives.
Nonetheless, the Archbishop continues to strongly recommend that people remain home and away from gatherings, as danger of COVID infection not only continues, but has worsened dramatically in recent weeks. The dispensation to not attend weekly Mass remains. The elderly and those with underlying health conditions are especially encouraged to remain apart from any gatherings, availing themselves of scriptural and spiritual reading, prayer and widely-available televised/streaming Masses. The Archbishop asks ALL to observe extra precautions should they attend rites in churches or elsewhere.

For those who have an active account with My eOffering there is no urgency to make the switch, although we encourage it.

Rebuild My Church Capital Campaign
Since 2008, Holy Child School has served as the only Catholic Classical school in New Mexico and the only Catholic school in the East Mountain community. The Lord has blessed our mission to form hearts and minds in the study of the good, the true, and the beautiful. Enrollment has grown 30% in the past five years, and with the current 87 students, the school is bursting at the seams. For our parish school to accommodate more families who desire an authentic Catholic education for their children, the need for physical space is crucial.
A new school facility will:
- Accommodate the increasing enrollment numbers
- Allow mixed grade classes to develop into single grade classes
- Provide a science room and space for the expanding Suzuki strings and Latin programs
- Free up space in Blessed Miguel Pro Hall for parish ministries/adult education
As a member of Holy Child Parish, your support in this campaign is of great importance. Everyone is needed. Please pray and seek the Lord's guidance on what your personal sacrifice should be for your three-year commitment. Supporters of the new building will have an impact on future generations of Catholics in the East Mountains.

PDL and Women's Pregnancy Options continues to provide aid and comfort to abortion-vulnerable women in unplanned and crisis pregnancies. They are in need of financial donations and baby items for helping the moms and their babies and to support the operations of PDL.
